If you will pardo...Thank you for your comment, Tom. If you will pardon the correction, "apocalypse" is not quite as you described: rather than including the "between you and God" the generally accepted meaning is the "lifting of the veil". Thus we have "apokalupsis eschaton" - which would be translated to "the lifting of the veil (the Revelation) at the end of the æon, or age", which gives birth to the eschatological studies in contemporary Christology.

Doubt and questions do not foster understanding unless they are accompanied by one key element: faith. Can we ever be satisfied if we seek satisfaction from the world - from the way things operate in an unjust, corrupt system? Probably not, but at the same time this should not prevent us from doing everything within our power to work for the betterment of the world in which we live by making those around us aware of what is going on in places they may not be aware of; where ignorance abides it is possible to carry on with the greatest atrocities.

CCAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14917517595461617547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3571516.post-65906177367937903732008-02-20T09:31:00.000-05:002008-02-20T09:31:00.000-05:00Thank you for the comment, Anonymous. While it is ...Thank you for the comment, Anonymous. While it is difficult to argue that there isn't something to gain from this current (ongoing!) conflict in the Middle East you must remember that the United States uses the conflict as a testing ground for their newer technologies, and for the observance of unconventional uses of older technologies.

The IAF, for example, has been flying the F-15 airframe for several decades now and they have the highest kill ratio in the WORLD - without having lost a plane in combat. No F-15 has ever been shot down, and IAF pilots are regularly used as examples of the "best of the best" when it comes to the use of this technology.

As for the possibility of Mossad pulling of something in the guise of the Gulf of Tonkin ... I must confess that I find this difficult to swallow.

There are enough real idiocies that have taken place that it isn't necessary to go looking for conspiracies hiding in every shadowy corner in order to prove the depravity of the present Israeli (and American) administrations. The simple fact that the American President has stood by while innocent civilians have been slaughtered is enough to say that complicity should be the word of the century: America has inherited the blood shed by those innocent children, their mothers, and everyone else executed without the benefit of a trial.

CCAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14917517595461617547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3571516.post-48929897711115973732008-02-20T06:58:00.000-05:002008-02-20T06:58:00.000-05:00It starts with doubt.Doubt leads to questions.Any ...It starts with doubt.

Doubt leads to questions.

Any answers lead to other questions.

Eventually, the truth sets you free.

But you have to begin by doubting what is ’sold’ as the truth.

Evil exists.

I see today’s events as the Apocalypse, a Greek word meaning, “The Lifting of the Veil Between You and God.”

Only doubt and questions will lift the veil.

And the veil is lifting.

‘T’Tom Dennenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13555179685667321735noreply@blogger.com
